What Moving Matters does, end-to-end
Whether you’re hopping across town from College Heights to Greenwood Park or hauling a four-bedroom out to Nashville, we cover the eight specialties below with the same W-2 crew and the same flat-rate-in-writing rule. Pick the service that fits and you’ll land on a page that walks the pricing, what’s included, and what we run into out in South-Central Kentucky specifically.
The eight services
- Local Bowling Green moves — two-mover or three-mover hourly inside Warren County and the surrounding KY counties. $119/hr or $159/hr, blankets and dollies included.
- Long-distance moves — interstate flat rate up and down the I-65 corridor (Nashville, Louisville, Indy, Chicago) plus Lexington, Knoxville, Atlanta, Memphis. Same crew, both ends.
- Residential moves — single-family brick ranches, gravel-driveway access, the standard Warren-County house move.
- Apartment moves — WKU off-campus, Fountain Square loft conversions, College Heights duplexes, downtown high-rise loft access.
- Full-pack service — we bring the boxes, the paper, the wardrobe cartons, and the labor. Most popular with Corvette-plant PCS families.
- Piano and specialty — uprights, baby grands, gun safes, 800-lb workshop tools through 32-inch doorways. Tyler’s specialty.
- Short-term storage — climate-controlled by-the-week at our Scottsville Road yard, for closing-date gaps.
- Commercial and office moves — downtown Fountain Square office relocations, Corvette-corridor industrial parks, WKU department moves.
How the pricing actually works
Local jobs are hourly with no minimum padding past the first hour. Long-haul is a binding flat rate written in advance, signed before we load. Specialty add-ons (pianos, safes, gravel-driveway shuttles) are quoted as line items on the same estimate so nothing surprises you on moving day.
