Terms of service
These terms cover your use of movingmattersky.com and the moving services Moving Matters performs for Bowling Green, KY and the surrounding South-Central Kentucky counties. They are written in plain English on purpose. By requesting a quote or booking a job with us, you agree to what’s below.
Quotes and the written flat rate
Every binding estimate we send you is in writing and signed by Brandy or Wade. The price on that estimate is the price you pay unless you add inventory, add stops, or change the dates after we lock the truck — in which case we re-quote in writing before any new work begins. We do not bill hour-creep, fuel surcharges, or stair fees that were not on the signed estimate.
Cancellation and rescheduling
- 72 hours or more before your booked date — full deposit refund.
- 24 to 72 hours — deposit held as credit toward a future booking inside 12 months.
- Inside 24 hours — deposit forfeited, since we have already turned away other jobs to hold your slot.
Liability and cargo coverage
Released-value coverage at $0.60 per pound per article is included on every job at no charge. Full-value protection is available on request, and we can write up to $1,000,000 cargo coverage per shipment for high-value loads — ask Brandy in advance and we’ll add it to your estimate. Claims are processed within 30 days of move completion.
Items we do not move
By federal regulation and common sense, we do not move firearms with ammunition loaded, propane tanks, gasoline, fireworks, perishable food, live plants on interstate runs, or cash and jewelry. Pack those separately and keep them with you.
Access, parking, and gravel driveways
You’re responsible for making sure the truck can reach the front door at both ends — or telling us in advance if it can’t, so Tyler can bring the shuttle. We tarp gravel-driveway entry routes at no charge. Permit parking in the WKU College Heights area and the Fountain Square downtown blocks is your responsibility unless we agreed otherwise in writing.

The content on movingmattersky.com — service descriptions, neighborhood pages, pricing tables — is ours. Don’t republish it on a competitor’s site, but you’re welcome to link to any page on our domain.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
